It can be used for torture… or it can be used to save. It can turn a nice pretty flower into a canvas of splattered brain matter, or leave a well-used battlefield as untainted with blood as a pair of freshly cleaned socks. It called an Energy Scepter, and it has transformed conflict on Lumin. First invented by the Arwin predecessor known simply as the ARN, Energy Scepters work by delivering a high voltage arc of lightning-like energy that fully stuns it’s intended target into a useless heap of muscle and flesh. But they also have other uses. Sitting at the bottom of the energy filled, glowing obstinite shaft sits a slightly more traditional style of weapon… a 4 headed axe with blades sharper than 1/100th of a human hair. On the opposing pointy end of the scepter, brilliantly glowing green energy direction rings surround a faux luminite crystal, an homage to the incredible amount of electricity held in the device. Although created to be a non-lethal and humane substitute for more traditional styles of weapons, Energy Scepters have also become seen as instruments of terror.
